My new novel, Goddess of the Unloved (french version), has just been published . It's the story of my return home, as unexpected as it is moving. After years of self-imposed exile, in Costa Rica and elsewhere, I've returned... to Quebec. Near my hometown. Who would have thought it? Certainly not me.

I had to relearn how to live here. To survive the winters, the hectic pace, the coldness of modern relationships. And above all... to redefine myself in a world where I no longer recognized myself.

In these columns, I recount my attempts—sometimes funny, sometimes desperate—to ground myself without betraying myself. My doubts. My impulses. My lapses. And that little voice inside me, both divine and scathing, that continues to guide me toward what I believe to be a form of true love.

It's raw, tender, lucid. It's me. And maybe a little bit of you too.
